Counts entries, nothing more.
A device above every entrance, with cabling and installation. It counts the door and that’s it: it doesn’t see the checkout queue or the floor.
Vizor counts the people who come in on your existing CCTV cameras and puts them next to receipts, so you can see by the hour how many bought and how many left without buying. No sensors are fitted at the door. The team is in Chișinău; in Romania we start with a pilot on three locations, for three months.
Vizor in Romania
A door counter gives you one number: how many came in. The cameras you already have, read by artificial intelligence, also tell you how many bought, how long they waited and where they went.
A device above every entrance, with cabling and installation. It counts the door and that’s it: it doesn’t see the checkout queue or the floor.
Entries, the checkout queue, movement through the floor and the hours when you lose people, on the cameras you have. Nothing is installed if a camera sees the entrance.
The number of receipts from the till or retail management software, next to the visitor count. That shows you the time slot when people leave without buying.
Distance matters once, on installation day. After that, the location in Romania appears in the same dashboard as any other.
A still from the entrance camera. Within 24 hours we write back with what can be measured at your location.
We connect the existing cameras without closing the store. The first report arrives the same evening.
From the till or your retail management software. If direct reading isn’t possible, a daily file is enough.
The numbers are checked against a manual count in parallel. The pilot can be stopped at any time, with no penalty.
Camera footage is processed on the Vizor server, and customers are not identified and no profile is built on them. Informing customers and the legal basis for the cameras are for you to prepare with your lawyer: we do video analytics, not legal advice.
The supervisory authority in Romania is ANSPDCP, with the official guidance at dataprotection.ro.
Conversion by hour, bypassed zones and checkout queues, in every store in the chain.

Read →Yes. The team is in Chișinău, and in Romania we start with a pilot: three locations, three months, with a manual count in parallel so you can check the numbers. Installation takes one day on site; after that everything is done remotely, and the Romanian locations appear in the same dashboard as the others.
Door sensors (an infrared beam or a 3D ceiling sensor) count entries. Wi-Fi counting counts phones and has been unreliable since phones started changing their own address. Counting by hand is exact, but only for a few hours. Video analytics on existing cameras counts entries and, on the same cameras, the checkout queue and movement through the floor. Vizor does video analytics: the only one of these methods that, on existing cameras, also counts what happens after the door. The full comparison is on the page about people counter.
Yes, with cameras of any brand, as long as one of them sees the entrance. For the queue and zones, the floor needs to be visible too. Where coverage falls short, we add one or two ordinary cameras and tell you beforehand, from an image.
Yes. We take the number of receipts per hour from the till or from your retail management software and put it next to the visitor count. Without receipts, conversion can’t be calculated. If direct reading isn’t possible, a daily file can be uploaded.
The General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), and the authority is ANSPDCP. Vizor counts silhouettes: customers are not recognised and no profile is built on them. Informing people and the legal basis for the cameras are for you to prepare with your lawyer; we don’t give legal advice.
Yes. The dashboard, reports and notifications are in Romanian; on request, in Russian too.
We look at an image from the entrance camera and reply in writing within 24 hours with what can be measured at your location and what the pilot would look like.
